Exclusive: PJ’s Alone in the Dark, Too

The one member of our staff who is literally made of Kasch, we call him Andrew, just used his telephony device to report a somewhat cool casting change on Michael Roesch & Peter Sheerer’s Alone in the Dark II: Alone Harder (not the actual subtitle), the set for which he’s visiting this evening.
Seems genre stalwart and all around classy lady Dee Wallace (you might remember her from… everything) has been replaced by an equally exquisite lady: PJ Soles. You damn well better remember her as Lynda from the original Halloween (check out our Halloween Then & Now interview with her here for more!)
Soles is filling the role of Martha, the maid to Lance Henriksen’s character who apparently has quite a history with him and is familiar with the witch at the story’s heart. That’s about all we know of the plot right now actually, but Andrew did assure us that the sequel is ignoring the first film altogether. That is a beautiful thing, no?
