Exclusive: Kill Theory Arrives in September
We got word from the Kill Theory crew that the film will be hitting us sometime in September. The finalized release date should be resolved this month, but what we know right now is that Lionsgate is planning on getting the flick into 2,800+ theatres and a trailer for it may be attached to The Ruins.
There's also some rumbling that the DVD release will be a double-disc "Unrated" affair. Usually that kind of label should worry horror fans ... but Kill Theory is already rated R, so it's not like we're getting the shaft or anything.
Kill Theory, directed by Feast (review) producer Chris Moore, centers around "a group of college students whom head out to a secluded vacation home to celebrate their recent graduation. However, the fun doesn't last long when a sadistic psychopath arrives on the scene and forces the college students to participate in his deadly game. The rules of the game are simple...in order to survive, you must kill another. As tension builds up and relationships begin to crumble, the students realize that only one of them will leave this game alive. Who will be the last man or woman standing?"
