Exclusive: First Pics From Animals!

Check it out. We just got the first look at the upcoming Douglas Aarniokoski adaptation of the Skipp & Spector novel Animals! The bestial film is wrapping up its shoot in Salt Lake City as we speak, and from what we’ve heard, everything looks damn good so far!

Animals is the tale of a blue-collar worker (Marc Blucas) whose life is turned upside down when he meets a girl named Nora (Nick Aycox). When it comes to love, things are never simple, especially when lycanthropy is involved; and pretty soon there’s a whole lot of bloodshed and hurt feelings going down. Our pics, thankfully, depict the former rather than the latter.

Animals also has an official site, though all that’s there now is a splash page. We’ll let you know when it opens up more, and keep your eyes open for my chat with Craig Spector to show up later this week!
