Exclusive: Death Walks the Streets Prequel Comic Debuts
It's been a long while since we've heard anything from the Death Walks the Streets camp, but today creator James Zahn dropped us a line that included a look at the cover of the prequel comic that is set to debut this summer!
Where you say? At Wizard World Chicago!
What you're diggin' on is the convention exclusive cover that features pencils and inks by Mark Kidwell (Bump) with colors by Milen Parvanov (The Fourth Horseman). Pretty nifty!
Pre-orders for the standard edition are being taken through the official Death Walks the Streets website right now. Be on the lookout for that cover sometime next week. The book features cover and interior pencils by Guilherme Balbi (Who Wants to Be a Superhero?), inks by Alex Silva (Nightwing), and colors by Javier Tartaglia (Marvel Adventures: Iron Man) and is written by Zahn along with Ben Brezinski. Details on the retail street date are TBA, but those who order online will have their books shipped in June.
On the film side of things Zahn reports that "we're negotiating with a few companies right now and hope to share some news very soon", adding, "It's been an interesting ride."
Indeed it has!

NEXT STORY
Oh yes, there will be blood, and sequels, and traps, and confusion! The Saw franchise has long been one to leave the viewer with more questions than it does answers. Can Jigsaw succeed in carrying the torture torch for yet another three films (despite being dead) starting with Saw V? Lionsgate seems to think so, and since we're talking about a series that revels in surprise, it's impossible to write them off just yet!

I can't wait for this! "Death Walks the Streets" is my most anticipated project next to "Sin Jin Smyth" and "Fearmongers."
Oh wait...
