Eisenberg Goes to Zombieland

Some more casting is close to happening on the Ruben Fleischer horror/comedy Zombieland, which you may recall is set to star Woody Harrelson as half of a pair of survivors of a zombie apocalypse who finds “friendship and redemption” in the new world order, according to THR.

Jesse Eisenberg, who will next be seen in the 80’s comedy Adventureland, is circling a role in Zombieland. If he signs on, he’ll be playing Flagstaff, a cowardly shut-in whose heightened paranoia makes him a perfect candidate for Most Likely to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse.

Eisenberg may be recognizable to horror fans as Jimmy from the Wes Craven werewolf film Cursed. At least the few of you who bothered to actually watch it, that is. Shooting on Zombieland will be getting under way soon, so expect more details in the coming weeks!
