Easter Bunny Kills in March!

With the one-two punch of having a ridiculous title and a very uncomfortable premise, it’s no surprise Easter Bunny, Kill! Kill! (review) has taken so long to find a distributor.

Though the filmmakers were hoping for a release last year, a deal has now been signed and sealed with Phoenix Entertainment, the creators announced recently on the film's MySpace page. The gore-filled indie will be hitting DVD on March 8th, and you can pre-order it now. I’ve not seen it yet, but if Creepy’s review is any indication this is one fucked-up tale of violence perpetrated by someone in a bunny mask. At least it’s all for a good cause, though!

Directed by The Ghouls helmer Chad Ferrin, Easter Bunny, Kill! Kill! is the story of a mother who leaves her retarded son in the care of a very sick man who does very sick things to him. The boy has a guardian angel, however, in the form of a shotgun-wielding vigilante wearing an Easter bunny mask. Check out the film’s trailer below and keep it here for disc details as they come in!
