Early Art for Argento's Giallo

Though Argento recently said that the title for his next film, Giallo, will more than likely be changed at some point before its release, that hasn’t stopped this snazzy piece of sales art from finding its way online.

STYD got their hands on it last night, and I have to say though I don’t really like the concept of a giallo film being called Giallo, this poster art almost makes it okay. Adrien Brody stars in Giallo as an Italian detective who teams up with an American stewardess (Emmanuelle Seigner) to hunt down a mysterious killer known only as “Yellow” or, in Italian, “Giallo”.

Some simple but sexy artwork for Giallo

Even though I think Argento's next project should be admitting himself into an assisted-living facility, it's hard to deny the awesome in that poster. If nothing else, I'll see it for Brody and Roman Polanski's uber-hot wife.

Awesome.

I saw this poster a little while ago but nobody was sure if it was legit or a fan-made piece.

Definitely one of the best posters I've seen in a while. Now if only the film can live up to it ...

yeah, really really great art...if that kind of retro sensability can be found in the movie then maybe it'll be worthy of the title. i really hope it is.

Wow....I actually really like it. I REALLY reminds me of the old Bird With The Crystal Plumage early posters.
