Aspiring Psychopath (2007)

What a dazzling original concept! A girl, more than likely a very hot girl, decides early on that all she really wants to be is a serial killer. She studies their patterns, how they pick their victims, how they torture and kill them, and finally she’s ready to set off on her own. Of course, she has to take out the teacher she learned from to prove to herself that she has what it takes first. Consider my mind blown! Buy it here!
Bats: Human Harvest (2007)

Yes, that’s right, it’s the sequel you’ve all been waiting for to come to DVD; Bats: Human Harvest! Foy called it a movie ”without a single nuance of thrills or excitement” back in his “>review, but really how bad could it be? Probably even worse than Foy says cause the man has a very high tolerance for shit so was likely too kind to it. The story is about a team of soldiers in the jungles of Brazil dealing with yet another strain of (digital) killer bats. Terror? Unlikely. Boredom? Guaranteed! Buy it here!
Hunting Creatures (2004)

Here’s a good reason you don’t throw raves at abandoned chemical plants. I mean seriously, why would you even think that was a good idea? During this particular rave, a chemical spill causes anyone who touches it to become a flesh-eating zombie, and of course they pass it on to anyone they bite. A new release from Unearthed Films, so you know it’s going to be wall-to-wall blood and cuts and more than likely a pretty good time. Buy it here!
Naked Violence

A two-disc set from Sub Rosa Studio, a company I’m still amazed are turning a profit at all. This set features Night Owl, the story of a vampire who finds his victims through the local bar scene and the brother of one of his victims (John Leguizamo) who is searching for is missing sister; and Sudden Fury, which doesn’t have much of a plot description but is apparently from the UK and filled with gore, torture and raunchy sex in a story about two gangs trying to killer one another. Don’t let the really stupid cover fool you; early word on this action/horror hybrid is that it’s pretty damn good. The story follows some mercenaries who take shelter in a disused military bunker, on a mission from a secretive businessman. There they uncover an evil that’s been buried for half a century and the fight for survival is on. Buy it here!
Sands of Oblivion (2007)

Back in 1923, Cecille B. DeMille was filming The Ten Commadments and had re-constructed a replica of ancient Egypt. After the film was done he ordered the entire set buried, and now an archeologist couple and a war vet have found the location of the old set an unleashed an evil that should have remained buried in the sand. Sisters (2007)

A remake of Brian DePalma’s film of the same name, this one stars Chloe Sevigny as a reporter to witnesses a very bizarre murder and begins to do her own investigation. Police don’t find a corpse or any evidence of the crime so she’s got her work cut out for her. Her search eventually leads to an asylum and a mystery surrounding the woman’s once-conjoined twin. Buck’s been working on this one for years so I really hope the wait has been worth it! Buy it here!
Wrestlemaniac (2007)

The concept is not really what one would call “gold”, but the execution is what B-movie classics are made of! The cast and crew of a low budget film get lost on the way to a shoot and end up in a ghost town that is supposedly plagued by a psychotic wrestler. One by the one the film crew are snatched away by the titular psycho, and those very few left alive have to figure out a way to stop the killer before they’re his next victims.
