Saw III on DVD!Man, when Lionsgate has a money printing machine on their hands like they do with the Saw franchise, they really know how to keep on milking it, don’t they?

Today a January 23rd release date was announced via Fangoria for (the first) Saw III DVD. There will be an unrated widescreen, unrated fullscreen, rated fullscreen, and Blu-ray disc all out on the same day, if you can believe it. As you would assume, the unrated versions will have more gory goodies in them than the version you saw in theaters.

Extras for the unrated editions are also set to include commentary by Darren Lynn Bousman and Leigh Whannell, commentary by Bousman and editor Kevin Greutert, commentary by the producers, deleted scenes, and hopefully a lot more. And hey, whatever’s not on the disc will be on the expected “Super Uncut” edition that will hit DVD right before Saw IV makes its way to theaters next Halloween. So there’s that.
