It’s subtle, that’s for sure, and I can’t say it really grabs the eye too well. The lack of an actual Cadillac is a bit confusing, as well. Based on the short story by Stephen King, Dolan’s Cadillac stars Christian Slater as James Dolan, a Las Vegas mob boss who kills the wife of peaceful school teacher (Wes Bentley). After he realizes the legal system won’t help him bring Dolan to justice, he takes matters into his own hands via a very elaborate trap in the desert. The film’s been in various stages of development for almost as long as I’ve been running a horror website, so it’s nice to finally see some real, solid proof that it will be out soon.
