Director Gives Kill Me Status

You may have heard the news the other day that production on I Know Who Killed Me, the new film from The Lost (review) director Chris Siverston, had to stop while lead actress Lindsay Lohan (pictured, on the phone with me of course) checked into rehab. Definitely not the best way to start off your second feature, but thankfully it hasn’t slowed down the film’s momentum.

“We resume shooting this week,” Siverston told Fangoria today. “What we’ve got [on film] so far is fantastic, Lindsay is doing great work, and everyone involved is very excited about how the movie is coming together. It’s going to be quite a unique flick.”

I Know Who Killed Me, you may recall, tells of a girl (Lohan) who insists that she is her own doppelganger after escaping the clutches of a madman (minus a limb or two) and that her other side still needs to be saved. I really can’t imagine where that story is going to go, but I have to admit it sounds damn cool.

Siverston also told the site that an announcement regarding The Lost‘s status should be made very soon but didn’t have any more details than that. For more on I Know as well as Siverston’s next project, hit the Fango link above!
