Dinner for Fiends: Dissecting Diary
So this past Friday George A. Romero’s Diary of the Dead (review) finally made its way to theaters, and to say it had a polarizing effect on the Dread staff is likely one of the biggest understatements of the year.
So of course we had to get together and discuss just what worked and what didn’t with Romero’s re-boot of the zombie infestation, which was our primary reason for gathering. Secondary to that, though, was to discuss another cool horror movie that had a very small theatrical run, Adam Green & Joel David Moore’s Spiral (review), and we actually got Green to join us in the conversation, too!
So get clicking below to listen to myself, Uncle Creepy, Syxx, Andrew Kasch and consummate badass Adam Green discuss Diary of the Dead, Spiral, and a helluva lot more!
And don't forget to vote for us on Podcast Alley!!
Discuss the latest Dinner for Fiends in the Dread Central forums!

How much this will appeal to horror fans is really up to their level of patience, I think, and how the film is going to be pulled off, but The Hollywood Reporter learned this morning that Stone Village Pictures and producer Scott Steindroff are bringing Mikhail Bulgakov’s The Master & Margarita to the big screen.

"Spiral" was great. Kudos to Adam Green. I enjoyed it a lot, and the combined performances of Tamblyn, Moore, and Levi sold this.
