Dimension Heeds the Warning

Dimension Films continues their sweeping grab of seemingly all things horror with today’s announcement in Variety that they’ve acquired the North America distro rights to Jamie (Urban Legend) Blanks’ latest horror pic, Storm Warning.

Though we first told you about it a while back, I had no idea the film was already done and looking for someone to scoop it up. Apparently Darclight helped produce it and brokered the deal with Dimension, the same way they did with Wolf Creek a few years back. Which means we just might get to see this one in theaters if and when Dimension decides to release it.

Storm Warning is about a couple who seek shelter from a massive storm they’ve gotten themselves lost in and end up at a nearby farmhouse. Their refuge quickly turns to terror, however, when they’re then captured by a couple of deranged psychos.
