All right, now we’re talking. Just got a heads up that the official trailer for George A. Romero’s Diary of the Dead (review) has finally hit online via the film’s MySpace page. Preceding it is a special message from the Zombie King himself announcing a contest for short filmmakers to win a chance to get their short on the DVD for Diary. Now that’s a great idea! Wow. Fucking wow. Being a pittsburgher I've been pissed that Romero moved to Canada and I never got the chance to be a zombie-- But I see this and forgive the man for making what looks like another absolutely amazing film...

I hope he fixed/cleaed up/removed some of the voiceover in the movie, much of it was completely redundant and on the nose.
Still, a terrific movie overall.
