Diary and Quarantine Release Dates!

Good news, boils and ghouls; George A. Romero’s Diary of the Dead (review) will be upon us in no time!
Box Office Mojo just updated their release date chart and have Diary listed as hitting theaters on February 15th, 2008; exactly two weeks before my birthday! Awfully nice of those Weinstein fellas. Of course, because it is the Weinsteins there’s always a chance it will change any minute, so keep an eye out.
They’ve also set a date for the John Dowdle-helmed remake of [REC], now called Quarantine on our side of the pond; October 17th, 2008. Seeing as how filming hasn’t even started that’s a reasonable release date, me thinks.
Other recent release date updates include Postal, which Freestyle will unleash on February 1st, The Signal, fucking up your mind on February 22nd and, if you care, the X-Files sequel, which will roll into theaters July 25th of next year.
