So much DVD news just found its way out of the studios, it's tough to keep up, but damnit, we’ll do our best.

Uwe Boll’s Alone in the Dark (review) will be out on September 25th as a brand-new director’s cut, which we just told you about right here, and William Friedkin's Bug comes home the same date; more details on that are right here.

Meanwhile, Lilja’s Library is reporting that 1408 (review) will hit shelves on DVD this October 2nd but doesn’t seem to have any more info, and a packed SE of Misery is due out on the same date with two commentary tracks, more than half a dozen featurettes and some trailers.

Finally, head on over to STYD to check out the cover art for Lionsgate’s upcoming release of Night of the Demons 2, which hits on September 25th and, sadly, seems to be devoid of features.
