Dead Matter Update!

We got word last night that The Dead Matter, the horror feature being directed by Midnight Syndicate’s Edward Douglas, is halfway through their shoot schedule and everything’s looking great so far. But don’t take our word for it, head on over to our Broadband section to check out a behind-the-scenes trailer for The Dead Matter, guaranteed to whet the old ole appetite for carnage.

The Dead Matter is the story of a grief-stricken young woman who just wants to contact her dead brother. She happens upon a vampire relic that facilitates this, but the consequences of her actions are more way more than she bargained for.

Be sure to hit the official Dead Matter site to check out more pics like the one you see to your right. Effects are being handled by Robert Kurtzman’s Precinct 13, which is probably the best indication you will need of how seriously they’re taking this. A starring role for genre favorite Andrew Divoff doesn’t hurt, either!
