Dark Lurking Wraps, New Pics, Trailer & Poster!

We received word this week from the producers of The Dark Lurking that principal photography has finally finished up on the movie and they’re on to the long, painstaking process of slicing it together.

For those unfamiliar with the film, it takes place 800 meters below ground, where a research station has gone completely black. Now home to a host of constantly mutating flesh-hungry monstrosities, eight survivors have to fight their way to the surface or face certain death.

To celebrate the film finishing shooting, and to whet your appetite for the low-budget Australian monster spectacle, the producers provided us with an updated poster (on the right), a brand new trailer and a dozen stills from the movie (both below). Say what you will about how familiar the film looks to something like Aliens; personally I don’t think that’s a bad thing to strive for at all!
