Variety reports that Willem Dafoe (pictured) and Charlotte Gainsbourg (I’m Not There) have signed on for the film. The duo will play a couple who retreat to an isolated cabin after the death of their child, hoping to take some time for themselves and get their heads back to a normal place. Unfortunately things don’t go so well for them, as something ancient and evil has other plans. The trade describes Antichrist as a psychological thriller that evolves into a horror film. Not sure exactly what that means, but I can’t wait to find out!
