Crypt Creator’s Life to the Big Screen

Not sure how the hell I missed this one yesterday, sorry for the lateness of this!
The Hollywood Reporter got word that Joel Eisenberg and his Mountain Media group have snagged the rights to a biography about Tales From the Crypt and Mad Magazine founder William M. Gaines (pictured seated on the right)!
Ghoulishly Yours, William M. Gaines will be the title, working from a script by Eisenberg. The film will follow a bunch of upstart comic book creators, reluctantly led by Gaines, who started up a series of horror comics that sold like wildfire, influenced generations of filmmakers and artists, and almost got them all throw in jail.
This is a life story that needs to be told and I can’t wait to see how it comes out. Keep it here for more details as they come to light!
