Crank Duo Leave Jonah Hex
The sick minds behind Crank and Pathology, Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, could not settle their creative differences with the folks behind the scenes of Jonah Hex, so Variety reports that they have left the project.
Hex is set to start Josh Brolin as a one-eyed, disfigured gunslinger who fights all manner of evil in the Old West. Warner Bros. is now scrambling to find a new director to try and keep the film on track to shoot in the spring so they don’t lose Brolin.
The film is an adaptation of the DC Comic of the same name, but you already knew that, yes? So far it looks like the duo’s script will still be used, but I guess that’s dependent on who fills in the director’s slot, eh? Keep it here for updates!
