Cinema Wasteland Happening This Weekend!

One horror convention I've yet to attend is Cinema Wasteland, but all the reports say it's among the best. If you live in or around the Cleveland, Ohio, area, this is the weekend you've been waiting for as the Cinema Wasteland Movie and Memorabilia Expo Fall Show goes down October 3rd, 4th, and 5th in Strongsville.

The guest list includes Lamberto Bava, Brett Halsey, John Saxon, Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni, Kane Hodder, Betsy Palmer, and our own beloved world-famous horror author Joe Knetter. But the guests are just the tip of the iceberg -- Wasteland is all about MOVIE, MOVIES and more MOVIES! Among this year's offerings are Black Sunday, The Brain that Wouldn't Die, Kingdom of the Spiders, Demons 2, Tenebrae, Blitzkrieg: Escape From Stalag 69, and many others. Friday night is all about short films, and DC regular Patrick Rea's "Cafe at the Crossroads", "Torture Porn", and "Shed out of Luck" are all playing as part of the con's traditional Short Film Block starting at 7:00 pm.

But don't think you'll just be sitting there in the dark, watching films, and then leaving. Q&A sessions, live movie commentaries, guest talks, and movie introductions are scheduled as part of the festivities.
