Buckley Goes Solo on Town Creek

Buckley helped compose the Number 24 scoreWhile it’s not something I’m able to follow or appreciate as much as others, I still understand the importance of music in film, especially horror movies. That’s why, to me, who is chosen to compose a film’s score is a good indication of what we can look forward to from the movie itself.

That being said, Upcoming Film Scores has learned that David Buckley will be working on the music for Joel Schumacher’s return to the vampire sub-genre, Town Creek. Dominic Purcell (Gravedancers) and Henry Cavill (Hellraiser: Hellworld) star in the film about a terrifying occult experiment dating back to the Third Reich that apparently involves vampires.

Buckley’s previous work includes Schumacher’s last semi-horror film The Number 23 as well as Gone, Baby, Gone, but Town Creek will be the composer’s first solo gig. Hope he gives us something memorable!

Keep it here for more Town Creek updates as it gets closer to completion!
