Book of Treats!
Wow, Warner Bros. is really happy about Mike Dougherty’s Trick ‘r Treat, or at least that’s how it seems when you look at all the cool stuff coming our way from it. First Sideshow shows off its Sam figure ("Trick ‘r Treat Joins Sideshow" – July 2007); now Insight Editions has announced the publication of a Trick ‘r Treat art book called Trick ‘r Treat: Tales of Mischief, Mystery & Mayhem!
A lot of amazing stuff is going to be in this beautiful edition, if the production art I saw while on set was any indication, and it will even take the stories told in the film and expand upon them as well as showing every stage of the evolution of this project.
Though it will only clock in at 108 pages, I’m guessing it won’t be skimpy on the goods; you can cram a lot into those pages if you know what you're doing, and I can't see Dougherty letting his work be hampered by page limitations. Click here to pre-order Trick ‘r Treat: Tales of Mischief, Mystery & Mayhem right now! Last we heard, Trick 'r Treat was scheduled be to released on October 5th, 2007, and it damn well better be!
