Book of Blood Blogged!

I’m so glad that Phil & Sarah over at Revelations, the official Clive Barker Resource, are finally getting the kind of perks they deserve. Well, other than their regular chats with Mr. Barker himself, of course...

They dropped a line this morning with the good news that they will be exclusively hosting the production journal for Book of Blood, the third planned film based on stories from Barker’s Books of Blood. Producer Joe Daley will be updating the blog on a regular basis, and the first entry is up as you read this. Check it out here!

In the first blog it’s revealed that Book of Blood is actually a combination of “Book of Blood” and “On Jerusalem Street”, and that shooting will get underway in Edinburgh tomorrow! In addition, STYD got word the other day that none other than Doug Bradley, Pinhead himself, has joined the cast. Too cool.

Midnight Meat Train, due out on May 16th, will mark the first of the Books of Blood stories to make their way to the big screen, followed by Pig Blood Blues, which will shoot in early 2008! Man I’m glad these are finally happening!
