Blindness Teaser Seen!

While the teaser itself isn’t terribly effective, the plot for City of God helmer Fernando Meirelles’ latest film, Blindness, is more than interesting enough to put it on my “must watch” list.
Dedicated reader “Hunter” passed along the link to the teaser for Blindness, in which Julianne Moore stars as the wife of a doctor (Mark Ruffalo) who is the only one left with sight when the entire town they're in is suddenly struck with blindness. Now that, my friends, is a very scary thought. She feigns the loss of sight to take care of her husband as society falls around her.
The film is based on a novel by acclaimed novelist Jose Saramago and is set for a limited release here in the U.S. on September 12th. We’ll be keeping our eyes on it (pun intended) and let you know when we hear more.

I loved the book, its one of my favorites.
And the movie having Julianne Moore has the doctor's wife makes it even better!
