Berkley & Evigan Join Darko Sequel

For all of you who moaned and groaned when the Donnie Darko sequel, S. Darko, was first announced, now you have a good reason to stop. The film’s gotten a major class upgrade by adding none other than Elizabeth (Showgirls, “Saved by the Bell”) Berkley to the cast!
Berkley will play a speed freak turned Jesus freak who wants to rid the world of sin as soon as she’s bedded her dreamy pastor. Briana (Step Up 2: The Streets) Evigan has also jumped on board, playing the best friend to Daveigh Chase’s Samantha Darko, reprising her role from the first film. The two of them flee Samantha’s broken family but are plagued by strange visions.
The completely uncalled for sequel is being directed by Chris Fisher (Nightstalker, Rampage: The Hillside Strangler Murders) and has begun filming in Utah. Keep it here for more updates cause I know you’re dying for ’em!
