Behind the Scenes of Werewolf Flick Beast!

default-featured-image

Beast poster! All right, a werewolf story! No one told me Timo Rose’s follow-up to Barricade was a freakin’ werewolf story! It’s called Beast, and today a source close to its production sent us a look at the film’s poster and some behind-the-scenes shots from the set, which you can feast upon below!

In Beast, the lovely Raine Browne stars as Amy, a young woman dealing with the unwanted return of her brother, Alex (Joe Zaso), who comes back with more than the usual amount of baggage; he’s now carrying around a lycanthropic curse. Joe Davison (100 Tears) stars alongside Rose himself as werewolf hunters hot on Alex’s trail. There are also cameos by Night of the Living Dead’s Judith O’Dea and Gravedancers director Mike Mendez!

Of course, as with all werewolf films the look of the titular beast will be the hinge upon which the film opens or closes for me, but I’m a sucker for werewolves so I know I’ll be checking it out!

The poster you see on your right was designed by friend of the site and all around cool guy Jason Beam, who also did the fantastic art for Rose’s Barricade among a ton of other indie horrors. Check out more of his work right here, and dig the Beast trailer below. Beast should be hitting DVD from Cinema Image Productions around Halloween. Click here to make friends with it on MySpace, and we’ll let you know when we have more details!
