Antibodies Remake Writer Named

I didn’t even know the German film Antibodies (DVD review) was on the remake block, or if I did the knowledge was pushed out of my brain, likely being filled in by all the other remake news we do on a weekly basis.
Indeed it is, though, and Variety reports that Sascha Penn (no relation to Sean) is on board to write the remake for Gold Circle Films. Antibodies, along with The Ditch, about a prison facility set on Jupiter, will be Penn’s first professional writing gigs.
For those who didn’t see it, Antibodies is the story of a small town cop who hopes to close the books on a notorious serial killer by getting him to confess to one of his crimes. Instead, the two personalities clash on an unexpected level, and soon the cop finds himself questioning everything he once believed to be true.

This is a movie that doesn't need to be remade. It just needs to be dubbed and released here.
