Marcus Koch's carnie gore-fest known as 100 Tears (review) has finally gotten U.S. distribution! According to Zombie Friends, 100 Tears has been picked up for U.S. distribution by Anthem DVD. This is the same company which brought us Dead Moon Rising along with various other indie titles. Though nothing official is listed yet, expect to see 100 Tears around the end of the year. I hope it comes out in time for Halloween! The film, shot all around my hometown of Tampa, centers around two journalists tracking a serial killer clown named Gurdy. While his appearance may be that of a fat and jolly carnival jester, Gurdy is a dark and twisted father who has no qualms about killing those innocent, guilty, stoned or crippled!
