Anchor Bay Does New York Comic Con

Pinhead, Ghost in a Shell, and Jason Voorhees might not have much in common on paper; but that’s not stopping Anchor Bay from grouping them all up at their booth at the New York Comic Con. The company is taking this opportunity to announce Blu-ray high definition releases of Hellraiser and Ghost in the Shell, as well as offering Q&A opportunities from producer Don Murphy.

Visiting fans will get to experience promotional events such as those listed below. I’m jealous I’m not there!

• Watch the latest previews from upcoming Anchor Bay Entertainment DVD releases including the Friday the 13th documentary His Name Was Jason (coming February 3rd); the Roger Corman production Cyclops starring Eric (The Dark Knight) Roberts (February 24th); the satanic horror comedy Crowley from music legend Bruce Dickinson (March 10th); and Robert Hall’s Laid To Rest (April 24th) with Lena Headey and Thomas Dekker (Sarah Connor Chronicles) which introduces the next great masked serial killer – ChromeSkull!
• Meet producer Don Murphy (Transformers, Shoot ‘Em Up, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) as he signs posters of his latest thriller While She Was Out starring Kim Basinger, to be released by Anchor Bay;
• Get the low-down on Anchor Bay’s upcoming Blu-ray high-definition releases of the classic 1987 thriller Hellraiser (April 24th), the original Children of the Corn and the anime phenomenon Ghost in the Shell!
