AFM: New Sales Art for Parasomnia
The American Film Market kicks into full gear today, and as usual we can expect all manner of early production art to show up for movies that may not be done or, in some cases, even started filming yet. Bill Malone’s Parasomnia is not one of those; it's been done for a while now and it's being shopped around AFM with the new art you see to your right.
Why? Personally I think the art that’s been used since the film was first conceived is very effective, whereas this is just generic and doesn’t give you any hints at all as to what the movie is actually about. But it’s sales art whipped up by American World Pictures who, at the end of the day, have the film’s best intentions in mind ... I guess.
Parasomnia is a trippy story about a man who falls in love with a girl who can only be awake for a few hours a day. He soon learns of a nefarious plan by a neighboring mesmerist and does all he can to put a stop to it before it comes to fruition.
Hopefully some good things will happen for Parasomnia at AFM so keep your eyes open for updates!

Looks like the film that’s always been referred to as The Untitled Gehenna Project, literally from the day it was announced, may have finally settled on a title. Variety reports this morning that the film is being called The Devil’s Tomb and that Voltage Pictures has just picked up the foreign sales rights for it.
