AFM: Mason's Blood River Goes International
Epic Films has jumped on board as international distributor for the latest from The Devil’s Chair (DVD review) director Adam Mason, Blood River, thanks to AFM. You may recall that Blood River’s been out there for a while now but this is the first time it’s been seen by distributors and all went very well.
Distribution has been sealed for Greece (Spenzos Films), Poland (Carisma Films), Germany (MIG Film), South Africa (New Primedia) and Russia (VFR, Ltd.) among others, which if I’m not mistaken marks the first time one of Mason’s films will be going worldwide!
Blood River tells the story of a couple whose car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Out of the desert walks a mysterious stranger who will force them to question every single aspect of their relationship with one another, as well as the true nature of evil.
Check out our exclusive look at the Blood River trailer below and you’ll get a good idea why this film went over so well at AFM. As soon as we get more as to when and how it’ll be out in the U.S., you’ll be the first to know!
