ABC Asking for More V

For some reason ABC is again handing out the orders for a new look at the “V” series from the mid-80’s, which is news we last reported on “>back in October. The network has now given a “pilot order” to the new version, penned by Scott Peters, according to THR.
The original mini-series detailed what happens when a seemingly peaceful race of aliens land on Earth and try to make friends with humans, promising all sorts of high-faulting things like cures to diseases and wisdom beyond the stars. What they don’t tell us is that underneath their human exterior they’re actually lizard people who need us for food. Hilarity ensues.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see just what changes are made for the new “V”, but something tells me there won’t be any Mark Singer to save our asses this time out, and that’s just sad.
