30 Days Spin off Named, Dated

We’ve been mentioning it off and on for a while now, but finally the 30 Days of Night spin-off set to air exclusively on Fearnet has a title.

Variety is reporting that title to be “Blood Trails”, which will follow the latest incarnation of the 30 Days comics in which some hapless characters find themselves beset by vampires in New Orleans. As previously reported Return to House on Haunted Hill helmer Victor Garcia will helm the seven three-to-five minute shorts that will encompass the story.

Fearnet’s other exclusive series, “Devil’s Trade”, was written by the same guy behind “Blood Trails”, Ben Ketai. Whether or not that’s a good thing depends on whether or not you like “Devil’s Trade”, which I’m ashamed to say I never watched. Sorry!

The first short will premiere on Fearnet’s official site on September 13th, just over a month before the movie opens in theaters on October 19th. Be interesting to see how far they go with the story considering it’s violence factor!
