Tim Sullivan is preparing to unleash his maniacs on an unsuspecting world for a second time on the big screen, and since this obviously comes so naturally for him, he’s got time for other efforts! Tim is teaming up with Avatar Press (publishers of Lady Death and Night of the Living Dead: The Beginning) to bring us the first licensed comic based on the movie 2001 Maniacs. Here’s the skinny…
2001 Maniacs Special #1 is fully authorized by horror icon Robert Englund and features his likeness from the movie as Mayor Buckman. 2001 Maniacs Special #1 is written by writer/director Tim Sullivan and will be completely in-continuity with the original, second, and third movies.
Spanish sensation Raulo Caceres will draw the comic, and it will be featured at this summer’s San Diego Comic-Con supported by both cast and crew.
