A new 3D terror tale is headed our way, and we have your official first word and look at what manner of abominations will be clawing their way off the screen! From the Press Release DEAD OF NOWHERE is a story about a man who finds himself trapped in a strange lawless town where he must fight various "abominations" in order to escape and save his wife.

Back in March of this year Stiles White and Juliet Snowden, the writing duo responsible for the upcoming Poltergeist remake, promised to the fans, "It’s treasured; it’s valuable. We see Poltergeist as if, um, as if we’re being handed the keys to the car and we’re gonna be really careful with it."

With Knowing nabbing the #1 slot at the box office (lord only knows why), two people who are the toast of the town are the film's writers, married couple Stiles White and Juliet Snowden. Why should you care? Because they're also the duo who will be responsible for the upcoming Poltergeist and Birds remakes.

Poltergeist just cries for a remake, doesn't it? There's no way any of the young kids today can relate to a film without high-def TVs, cellphones and MTV approved actors! Yes, it totally needs an update...
