In 2005 up-and-coming writer/director Stevan Mena set the indie horror world ablaze with his feature film debut, Malevolence, which introduced us to the twisted world of serial killer Martin Bristol, who made a living of capturing and torturing innocent people. For Bereavement, the prequel and second film in the filmmaker's planned trilogy, Mena takes us back to where it all began.

We're getting closer to the March 4th, 2011 theatrical release of Stevan Mena's sequel to Malevolence, titled Bereavement and to get you all excited like, we have a new poster and the first TV spot!

Stevan Mena's sequel to Malevolence, titled Bereavement, is officially on its way to theatres on March 4th, 2011, so you know what that means ... it's time to tango with the MPAA. The ratings board has handed down its rating for the flick, which is R for "sadistic bloody violence, torture, brief language and nudity". All the good stuff!
