Stephen King Seemingly A Fan Of Streaming Black Comedy Series; Compliments “Vile and horrible” Character

In the world of all things entertainment, when a master storyteller like Stephen King gives his stamp of approval, it’s bound to make waves. Even when it’s a little bit vague. The latest recipient of King’s accolades is the Apple+ series Bad Sisters, a must-watch show that has captured audiences’ attention worldwide.

While the King himself hasn’t outright proclaimed his love for the streaming series, it seems he’s at least somewhat enthralled by a social villain character played by Claes Bang. King congratulated the actor for playing “the most vile and horrible husband ever.”

According to Apple, Bad Sisters is a delicious blend of both dark comedy and thriller that follows the lives of the Garvey sisters, who are bound together by the premature death of their parents and a promise to always protect one another.  The series stars Sharon Horgan, alongside Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene and Eve Hewson as the Garvey sisters.

King’s praise for the series comes as no surprise to fans familiar with his work, which often explores themes similar to mystery, family dynamics, and terrible husbands of all kinds. His endorsement adds a significant boost to the show’s already growing popularity, solidifying its status as a must-watch for enthusiasts of black comedies and thrillers.

Created by visionary writer and showrunner Sharon Horgan, Bad Sisters has been hailed for its gripping plot, stellar performances, and atmospheric cinematography. With Stephen King’s interest obviously piqued, Bad Sisters is poised to continue its run as a breakout hit for Apple+.
