PATIENT ZERO Starring Smith, Dormer, and Tucci Gets Release Info

Stefan Ruzowitzky’s zombie-ish flick Patient Zero starring Matt Smith, Natalie Dormer, and Stanley Tucci was shot in 2015 in London. And now, years later, we have word on when the film will available on home video.

We just learned via Variety that Vertical Entertainment will release the movie on Digital and VOD August 14th. The film then arrives in select theaters the following month on September 14th.

Directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky (Cold Hell) from a screenplay by Mike Le, the movie was produced by Vincent Newman and executive produced by Glenn S. Gainor and Steve Norris. Agyness Deyn and Clive Standen also star.

Synopsis:

The story takes place after a super-virus has turned humankind into highly intelligent, streamlined killers. Smith portrays an asymptomatic victim who can communicate with the infected and must lead the last survivors on a hunt for Patient Zero and a cure.
