First Look: DOWN A DARK HALL Starring AnnaSophia Robb, Isabelle Fuhrman and Uma Thurman

I know this might sound strange, but one of the movies I’m most looking forward to is the upcoming adaptation of Lois Duncan’s Down a Dark Hall. It sounds like a teen-friendly version of Dario Argento’s Suspiria and I have a special place in my horror heart for the works of Lois Duncan (I Know What You Did Last Summer).

On top of that, the film is directed by Rodrigo Cortés (Red Lights, Buried) and stars Anna Sophia Robb (The Reaping), Isabelle Fuhrman (Orphan), Taylor Russell (Netflix’s Lost in Space), and Uma Thurman. That’s one hell of a creative team behind the scenes!

And today we have your first look at the film via a behind-the-scenes still of director Rodrigo Cortés talking with Uma Thurman. The image seems to have come from a Spanish magazine and you can check out a screenshot below.

Not only that, but word via the MPAA is that the flick has earned a PG-13 rating for “for mature thematic content, terror and violence, some language including a sexual reference, and smoking.” There is currently no word on when the film will be released. Come on, Hollywood. Let us know!
