First Look: Sci-Fi Thriller ASTRO Starring Gary Daniels and Dominique Swain

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has just announced that they’ve acquired sci-fi thriller Astro, featuring Gary Daniels (The Expendables), Dominique Swain (Face/Off) and Marshal Hilton (Primal Rage).
The film bows at Cannes in May before hitting DVD June 5. Asif Akbar and Bernard Selling are currently finishing the book series which will hit Amazon in July.

The film is directed by Asif Akbar from a script by Akbar and Bernard Selling and stars Gary Daniels, Dominique Swain, Marshal Hilton, Louis Mandylor, Max Wasa, Omi Vaidya, Luke G. Crosby, Orson Chaplin, Gianni Capaldi, Spice Williams-Crosby, Courtney Akbar, Christopher Showerman and Michael Pare. The score is composed by Erick Schroeder.
It will be released on DVD June 5, 2018.
Synopsis:
A billionaire’s private space exploration program returns to Earth with an abducted extraterrestrial from a newly discovered alien planet.
