They ensure the court record is accurate and suffice it to say, they’ve heard it all. So what if a court stenographer wanted to take everything they’ve heard in the courtroom and put it into murderous practice? Such is the case in Mick Davis’ new film Walden, with Emile Hirsch playing the titular character.

Walden Dean is a stenographer, who’s witnessed all types of injustices in the courtroom. After discovering he has a terminal illness, repressed anger deep within him surfaces—taking justice into his own hands in the most gruesome ways imaginable.
