It's that time of the year for Spooky Empire's Screamfest in Orlando, Florida! Kicking off on October 17th, Screamfest will be bringing us the Freak Show Film Festival, vendors galore, a pool party and Hellraiser and Dawn of the Dead reunions! All of this is taking place at the glorious Wyndham hotel with rooms available for as little as $99 a night!

Coolers were filled with water, ice, beer, booze and prop bananas (more on that later). We headed out and prayed for the best.
Spooky Empire's Screamfest was the first convention I had been to in a long while. The days of dressing up as a Ghostbuster and taking pictures with kids at shows have passed. Then I got this new gig as one of the site's writers and boom! I am back, but this time as a journalist.
