Despite not having released any details regarding the cast or even its director to media outlets, Resident Evil: Afterlife, the fourth theatrical installment in the franchise, will begin filming in late September in Toronto.

Play a Game in District 9

Two Clips from Blood: The Last Vampire

Mondays are usually pretty blah. It's for THAT very reason we sat on these latest clips from Chris Nahon's Blood: The Last Vampire until today! Get ready for a little sword-swinging demon fighting to go with the usual complaining about your job and clock watching! Synopsis

One thing's certain -- Samuel Goldwyn Films and Sony are pulling out all the stops to make sure people are aware of the upcoming Blood: The Last Vampire, which is being released July 10, 2009. Not only have they posted the first five minutes of the film, which you can watch here, but today they provided us with 20(!) brand-new stills.

More on Ghostbusters 3 From Harold Ramis

It’s getting to be that you can’t log onto a movie website these days without catching a tiny update on Ghostbusters III. In fact, with the exception of Rob Zombie’s H2, is there any other movie featured as prominently on websites across the cyber landscape as the upcoming third go ‘round for everyone’s favorite ghost cops?

Sean Bean Has the Black Death

Sean Bean’s a cool mofo, isn’t he? Even while wandering around in the world’s most useless subplot (right Silent Hill?), I find myself struggling to suppress the hetero man-crush that’s been in bloom since the first time I saw GoldenEye.

District 9 Ad Campaign Hits the Streets

It looks like Sony, distributor of the new alien invasion flick District 9, took a page out of HBO's "True Blood" marketing book and came up with a truly clever ad campaign for the film. Along with placing posters inside comic books stores, they're decorating bus benches and shelters as well as billboards.

Moon Rises Over NY and LA

Duncan Jones’ Moon has garnered quite the buzz, and we’re getting closer to its limited release in New York and Los Angeles on June 12th.

Jones' Moon Will Rise All Over the World!

One upcoming movie that I think everyone around these parts is really going to love is the Sam Rockwell tour de force Moon, and luckily for the world, its rights have been sold to just about every place imaginable.

DVD Artwork for REC

Finally after what seems like forever we're getting our hands on an official Region 1 DVD release of Jaume Balagueró's REC (review here) (yes, we know you Canadians have had it for a while now) this coming July 14th.

Moranis Back for Ghostbusters 3

All this Ghostbusters 3 news is just gettin' me giddy, man! We knew all the original Busters we're coming back for more, but according to an interview with Entertainment Weekly Rick Moranis will be back in slime too!

Obsessed with Ali Larter?

It's been a while since we've experienced some good old fashioned fatal attraction (my one night fling with Jaspar the Wonder Donkey and its trainer down in Mexico doesn't count), and Sony Pictures is ready to unleash its new thriller Obsessed to fill that void.

Leighton Meester to Become a Roommate

The tale of Roommate is a strange one. During the filming of The Strangers, one of its producers, Sonny Mallhi, saw fit to write his own horror flick under an assumed named so that the script would be treated fairly in the marketplace. The script was for a thriller called Roommate, which ended up being picked up by Sony/Screen Gems.
