Finally got to see [REC] 2 (review here) recently, and for now all I'm saying is that this flick friggin' rocks! It's like Doom 3 meets The Exorcist! In any event a new UK trailer has reared its head with some insane new footage. Dig it!

Could it be?!? Could it really be?!? Those of us in the United States had to wait what felt like forever for the home video release of [REC], and for a while it seemed as if we'd be doing the same for its sequel [REC] 2 (review here). However, some news slipped out today that tells a very different story.

The unintentionally laugh-out-loud funny and mind-blowing cinematic apocalypse epic known as Legion is getting set to make its home video debut courtesy of Sony on May 11th, and we've got the lowdown on what to expect once this puppy spreads its wings!

Here at Dread Central we're big fans of destruction and mayhem, which is why we were so fond of Roland Emmerich's 2012 (theatrical review here) when it debuted last November. Finally the artwork and ads for Rob Zombie's much maligned sequel Halloween II have appeared online, and we've got them for you free of ill-placed profanity and shaky-cam! HELL YEAH!

Another bad sign for the Weinsteins. Usually distribution of all of Dimension Films' theatrical properties are handled by Genius Products, the Weinsteins' home video label. Yet, today the news came that Sony will be handling the DVD and Blu-ray release of Rob Zombie's Halloween II. Very interesting, no?
