District 9 Blu-ray to Include God of War III Demo

Just the other day we got ahold of the artwork and specs for the December 29th DVD and Blu-ray release of District 9 (see them here). But one item was missing from the story: The Blu-ray will include a playable demo of the PlayStation 3 game God of War III, which comes out in 2010.

Look for Ghostbusters on the PSP in November

Who you gonna call? The Ghostbusters are back in Ghostbusters: The Video Game for the PSP, featuring the voices and in-game likenesses of Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson in an original story penned by the writers of the original films, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis.

Peter Jackson Making His First Appearance at Comic-Con

Forget bus benches and billboards. The buzz behind District 9 just got a helluva lot louder with the announcement that Peter Jackson, one of the producers, will be making his first ever San Diego Comic-Con appearance in support of the film, which Sony is releasing August 14th.

E3: Resident Evil Portable

It's way overdue, but Sony just announced at their E3 press conference that a brand new Resident Evil title will be heading to the PSP sometime next year. Unfortunately, that was all they announced, so let the speculation begin.

** UPDATE: Sony has won the bidding war. Rejoice!** Ever heard the term “spiritual thriller”? I hadn’t either, but Variety used it today in their story about a new book called Angelology, the debut novel by Danielle Trussoni (pictured), which is in the midst of a bidding war between Sony, Warner Bros. and Universal that could last into the weekend.
