American Backwoods: Slew Hampshire Brings the Carnage to DVD and VOD This June

If you’re looking for a horror flick with a particularly violent edge, then writer/director Flood Reed’s American Backwoods: Slew Hampshire might do the trick. After all, the folks over at Rue Morgue Magazine were particularly horrified by the flick, eventually giving it the “Goriest Scene of the Year” award. In other words, you should prepare your stomach accordingly.
Gorehounds will have a chance to investigate this shocking endeavor when it arrives on DVD and various VOD outlets this summer. According to the official press release, the film follows the adventures of several teenage boys as they encounter a “sinister hunting party, a bloodthirsty tribe, and a mythical beast in the backwoods of New Hampshire.”
Flood Reed’s American Backwoods: Slew Hampshire is presently scheduled for release on June 9. To prepare yourself for the carnage, check out the trailer below.
