But (and here's a hint to filmmakers) when we see one featuring a killer in a disturbing looking drama mask, slutty hot chicks, and a guy getting his face basically torn off, we tend to take notice. Blood Widow is an upcoming indie horror film that promises to go old school for us. And isn't that how we like it?

A new trailer for Texas-based filmmaker Stacy Davidson's latest slasher (or should we say pounder?) flick Sweatshop has arrived, and it brings along with it just what you need to pound away the Monday blahs. Look for the flick in stores on September 13th in a deliciously gooey unrated cut via Screen Media Films.

The latest foreign import Amer is getting set to make its DVD and Blu-ray debut here Stateside, and we've got a quick look at what you can expect when it gets here. According to High Def Digest in an early announcement to retailers, Olive Films has revealed Amer will be available on Blu-ray on October 4.
