Torso, by Brian Michael Bendis, is one of the best graphic novels out there. A gritty and gripping hunt for a serial killer, its attention to detail is staggering, and its pace is better than most bestsellers. To say it'd make a great movie is a no-brainer, which is why I'm surprised that it's taken so damn long to get made!

B.T.K.: Bind, Torture, Kane?
Sometimes I wonder if Kane Hodder doesn't take that "KILL" lip tattoo a little too seriously. Hopefully he won't get "BIND" and "TORTURE" tattooed in his nostrils in honor of the May release of his latest direct-to-DVD offering, B.T.K.

Full Details for Serial Killer Shocker Abundant Sunshine
It's hard to tell if Abundant Sunshine is yet another boring and redundant trip into cinéma-vérité land or an actual disturbing piece of cinema documenting the works of a dedicated family man who spent ten years living a double life as a serial killer. You see, he videotaped all his crimes, always a good idea, and when the police find the tapes, all the truth comes crashing down.

Reality Stars Die in Reality Horror Night
In a move I can only refer to as ridiculous, someone out there has brought a group of desperate, fame-hungry “reality stars" together for a new feature called, creatively, Reality Horror Night.

Release Finally Set for Amusement
If you were diligent like me and went to see all 8 Films to Die For last year, chances are you were annoyed all to hell by the trailer for Amusement that played before every showing. So what the hell happened to it, anyway, if it was so close to release last October?

Baghead Hits DVD December 30th
This December 30th one of the more bizarre titles flirting with our genre, Mark & Jay Duplass’ Baghead (review), will finally be coming to DVD thanks to Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. If you’ve not heard much about the title, I’m not surprised; I’ve been trying to figure out if it belongs on Dread since it started its festival run.
